8" x 8"  Spaghetti Sunday is framed and matted in a 12" x 12" frame.

Spaghetti Sunday is a tradition for Italian American families where everyone sits down for a big pasta meal together every Sunday.

I remember as a young child we were always at one of my grandparents for spaghetti. Often aunts, uncles, and cousins would be there. Always good times. Both of my grandmothers were stellar cooks, and I loved the traditions they taught us.

My mom and dad moved to Fort Collins long after I was married. This painting reminds me of her sunny kitchen with flowers on her island when we would all get together for 'Spaghetti Sunday'.

How to make a bottle of wine look extra special.

  • Pick out your favorite wine (white, red, or champaign)
  • Pick up a festive floral pic at a craft, grocery, or $$ store
  • Purchase a nice ornament
  • Tie a bow with some holiday ribbon (I prefer the kind with wire so it's easy to twist)

Slip the ornament and bow over the neck of the wine bottle, I use thin framing wire to attach the floral pic but you can glue gun or use floral wire to wrap the pic on the bottle.

That's it!  A beautiful festive gift for your hostess with the mostest.
