Today is my mother’s birthday!  She loves old movies, popcorn, and maybe even a little pink champaign.  Happy Birthday Mom!

This is a great celebration drink for a birthday.  When we were young my mother’s first cousin and her were best friends.  Shirley always dressed like the ladies in the fashion magazines and drank fun drinks when there were celebrations.  I loved the color of ‘Pink Squirrels’ I wonder why that is the name of this drink.  Maybe, if you drink a few, the squirrels look pink.  🤣🤣🤣
 
 3/4-ounce creme de noyaux
3/4-ounce white creme de cacao
1 1/2 ounces heavy cream
Garnish: freshly grated nutmeg
 
Add the creme de noyaux, white creme de cacao and heavy cream into a shaker filled with ice and shake until well-chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe champagne glass.
Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg
