Scanno is a beautiful mountain town in the Abruzzo region of Italy.  My father's family is from Scanno and several years ago we visited his family in this beautiful village.  The doors, window boxes, and flowers were beautiful, and I frequently paint those beautiful memories
 
Also, today is a big Birthday for my oldest grandchild.  Dominic (named after my father) is 16!  Put your seatbelts on and get out of the way!  Happy Birthday to you Dominic!
