Day 12 – Margaritaville
 
'Margaritaville' is 6" x 6" matted and framed in a 12" x 12" frame.
 
I often listen to music when I paint, and today's painting is a tribute to Jimmy Buffet. Margaritaville was his brand and he did it well!  There are communities, bars, restaurants and even Pat and Vanna gave away a Margaritaville home in Florida.  
 
 I was looking at some of his music titles and this one is hilarious. "If the Phone Doesn't Ring, It’s Me" can you imagine what kind of fun was going on when this title came up?
 
You guessed it. A Jimmy Buffet cocktail to enjoy this evening.
 
The Official 'Margaritaville' Margarita
 
1 cup ice
¼ cup tequila
3 Tbsp. fresh lime juice
3 Tbsp. water
2 Tbsp. triple sec
1 Tbsp. superfine sugar
Salt
Lime wedge
 
1. In a cocktail shaker, add 1 cup ice, tequila, fresh lime juice, 3 tablespoons water, triple sec and superfine sugar. 
2. Shake well and pour the contents into a salt-rimmed glass. Garnish with a lime wedge.
Serves: 1
